Assomac and the Experimental Station for the Leather and Tanning Industry have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at facilitating and promoting collaboration for the achievement of their respective institutional objectives.
The projects of common interest concern, among other things, the application and testing of mechatronic innovations in the general framework of Industry 4.0 and the development of application processes aimed at limiting the consumption of resources in the process of leather processing and process traceability.
To achieve the goal, SSIP will provide its technological tools, laboratories and human resources, while ASSOMAC, in addition to its staff, will provide any external professionalism from time to time useful for the purpose. The commitment is aimed at facilitating maximum sharing and collaboration with any other technical institution and national or regional research body.
