In the presence of President Gabriella Marchioni Bocca, on Thursday 12 October, ASSOMAC met with a delegation of eight Pakistan shoemakers accompanied by the two Past President of the Pakistani Footwear Association (PFMA): Nasir Anwer Sheikh and Javed Iqbal Siddiqui.
With PFMA, ASSOMAC signed a cooperation agreement in December 2016 in Lahore, where, with financial support from the Ministry of Economic Development (MiSE) and ICE Agency, a project was born for the creation of a Shoe Technological Center in Lahore. The project, which should be completed by 2018, was discussed between ASSOMAC and the two former Nasit Anwer Sheikh and Javed Iqbal Siddiqui.
